Our program today was present by Jill Mallicoat Norment, volunteer recruiter at Guardian Ad Litem (facebook or web). Volunteers are needed to be a child’s voice during the legal process. As a volunteer, you will spend time with the child, be able to contact parents, foster parents and social services for input and be at court with the child.
There is a 30 hour training class that you will complete. After that, it will be about 8 hours a month.
