160 students were able to take home 3 books each thanks to $500 from our club and $250 from the Valdese Merchants Association.
Kevin Frederick, our Community Chair, organized the purchasing and distribution of the books. Kevin and Ted applied the book plates (created by the Mercers) in all those books!! James, Ted, Karen, Kevin, Jeff, Jon and Kristina were on hand for the distribution.
